Bucklers Reel formed the amalgamation from of two bands - Rogue Element and Slap The Juggler. Sue & Ronnie decided to carry on playing together after the split but were both keen to have a fuller sound. Chris & Jules were asked to join them and Bucklers Reel were formed.
